Recently, Chevrolet Canada announced the arrival of the new 2024 Trax. After a one-year interruption, the compact SUV is back with a completely redesigned look that offers more comfort and, to top it off, a reduced price.

The 2024 Chevrolet Trax takes advantage of revised dimensions. It is 11 inches longer, 2 inches wider, and rear seat legroom has been increased by 3 inches. The cargo volume also benefits and increases to 1531 liters.

Chevrolet Trax: An Affordable SUV

Starting at $24,498, this Chevrolet SUV costs less than its predecessor and doesn’t sacrifice comfort. Plus, thanks to its front-wheel drive and 1.2-liter turbocharged 3-cylinder engine, fuel economy is a welcome boost.

This engine, already tested on the Trailblazer, develops 137 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque and is combined with a front-wheel drive and 6-speed automatic transmission.

Chevrolet SUV: Priority to Ergonomics and Modularity

Its 8-inch screen (11 inches optional) is turned towards the driver, as is the dashboard. An 8-inch digital instrument panel is also available. The steering wheel controls group the main functions and are within easy reach.

Up front, the driver’s seat is manually adjustable to 6 positions; heated seats also come standard. In addition, the multimedia system is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wirelessly. Optional USB outlets are available in the rear.

Moreover, the rear seats benefit from a 60/40 split to simplify the loading task. And to keep things quiet, active noise cancellation is standard.
