With the Terrain, You Own the Road!

One of the great novelties of this new model year is the arrival of an all-new version in the lineup, called the AT4. This name already exists on a few other GMC models and designates a car that specializes in off-road capabilities. It is thus fully equipped with off-road tires, a steel skid plate and an off-road driving mode: wherever you go, the GMC Terrain AT4 is your ally!

Apart from this newcomer, we still count on the SLE, SLT with the possibility of the Elevation edition, and the top-of-the-line Denali. 

On the outside, there are several cosmetic changes overall, including a more robust grille and new LED headlights (in a distinctive C shape) and lights. There are a few variations on the Elevation edition, which include 19-inch wheels, a dark grille, contrasting trim and more.

The engine is the same for the entire lineup, a 1.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder that produces a generous 170 horsepower and 203 lb-ft of torque. The Traction Select system gives you great control on all roads, even more so if you opt for the optional all-wheel drive. Another interesting option is the Denali high-end suspension, which offers a smooth ride and a considerable reduction in noise.

Speaking of Denali, this version gives you extra luxury with French stitching and genuine burnished aluminum trim. More than that, it takes comfort to another level with heated rear seats and available ventilated front seats, keeping you comfortable in all conditions.

On the technology side, the American automaker also goes above and beyond by modernizing the new GMC Terrain, which is more connected than ever. Indeed, not only is the infotainment system compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, but it even connects wirelessly as standard!

Its active safety technologies are also noteworthy, with GMC's Safety Pro package standard, including useful driving aids. Between emergency braking, collision avoidance alert, pedestrian detection and lane-keeping assist, you are safer than ever. An indicator shows you the distance between you and the car in front, and IntelliBeam automatic high beams keep everyone safe.

The Denali version once again adds a touch more with side obstacle detection, rear parking assist and cross-traffic alert.
